Good finish and excellent powder coating. However. Most rack bags that are welded to the sides of trailers are 3 inches long or less. The portion of this holder that fits into the peg pocket is just over 3 inches long. This way the locking bar is pressed against the underside of the bracket before it can touch and catch the bottom edge of the pannier bag, all of which is released once the screw is tightened. I welded a Curt rod pocket to accept this holder but since it doesn't work I just have to weld the holder to the rod pocket. Not my original intention, but I like the carrier so I want it to work. The D ring is great but rattles (as expected) so secure it with a magnet.
