Very nice construction. I've been using it all day and its barely warm. Purchased to be able to use a car radio indoors on household current. Just connect the radio power & ground wires to the included +/- adapter ( very nice - not cheap spring loaded like other's I've seen but screw down wire retention) and plug it into the wall. I'm using it with a Sony Explode 52W X 4 with a multi cd changer and have no problem turning it all the way up. 5 Amps seems to be plenty. Saw a video on Rocktheboatmarinestereo.com explaining how to use their $20 + $6 s&h power supply to run a car stereo, but they want you to hack off the end of their wire and splice it to your stereo's harness. Chanzon's included led wire adapter eliminates that. The specs are exactly the same between the two. Input is 110V - 240V. $16 with a 2 year free replacement guarantee. I saved $10 and no wire hacking. Not bad at all
