I first got a pair of these headphones while working in a place that doesn't allow In - Wear ear or in-ear headphones. Bone conduction is great for still hearing the people around you and even asking you questions while listening to music. They don't cover the ears and they conduct sound through the bone that is just in front of the ear canal. Bone conduction sound cannot be compared to in-ear or in-ear headphones and the sound they produce, but both cannot be worn/used in water. I love this pair because they can be used in the water - swim, sit in the hot tub, or just shower without fear of falling. They fit well and it works for me!
