Review on π Ultra High Resolution Thickness Measurements by Dexter Rasberry
An interesting sensor that could definitely be useful for color, although I don't know how accurate it is.
I chose this to measure the thickness of the clear coat and laminate on some of the tables I have in my garage because I am renovating and restoring them. The meter works and is easy to use. However, I don't really know how accurate it is as I can't compare this as I don't have another such sensor. Based on the thickness I see at eye level and what I can measure on this one chart; that seems pretty accurate. I'm satisfied because I used it for what I need it for.
