Not sturdy or worth the money! I bought these to put some cook books and use like small bookshelves. Loaded the largest one up and took hold of the HANDLE cut-outs and as soon as I lifted up the top 2/3rds disconnected from the bottom immediately! I n my pics I have shown where they have completely missed hitting the triangular connecting piece with the brads when it came to "nailing” it together to make sure the bottom part stayed connected to everything else! See my last two pictures. Looks like they hit the middle piece ok (again see pics), but if the bottom doesn’t stay on it’s worthless. I suppose of there was more glue in there it might have held, but I didn’t see much evidence of glue either! I rated "thickness with only two stars because they used wimpy thin nail brads.
