I cannot praise this product enough! I currently have a 30 lb growing golden doodle that has just been neutered. I HATE e-collars and think they make recovery harder so I took a chance on getting this one. I'm so happy I did! My dog felt absolutely comfortable in it for 5 days. She was able to move about freely and go about her "business" without any problems. In fact, on day 4 she jumped over the dog gate and showed me that she was healing well. Not once did she try to remove it or bite the incision. She completely ignored it! I didn't have to use the Kotex type liner that comes with the kit and on day 3 I looked into the incision. NO redness, swelling or infection. It was wonderful ! I took it off on day 5 just to see if she noticed the cut but she didn't so I didn't take it off. I tested it after wearing it for 5 days in a row and nothing was soiled! There are no stains anywhere! how awesome is that I bought the size M/Large and it was a bit small but fits great as the fabric stretches with the dog. If I had to do it again I would go for the big one because it's so long and everything stands on its legs. By the way, photo #1 is the day of the operation.
