If your blender gets a lot of use, don't waste your money on this lubricant. Bought to service my blender, thoroughly cleaned all the old grease and repacked the gears. I even verified my work through several different tech sites and videos. After about 30 minutes, the housing around the gears became very hot. I stopped the unit, removed the case and found that all of the grease had turned into something similar to cotton candy and was all over the place except for the gears. I let the fat cool and refilled, this time running the machine on the slowest setting to ensure even distribution of the fat in case there was a problem the first time. Same result again. I was able to find the original grease that came with the unit from a local supplier and replaced it with it and have had no problems since. I am very mechanical and often lubricate gears and bearings without any problems. My opinion is that you might be fine if you only use the blender for a few minutes every now and then. In addition, you can look for other options.
