I'm glad I didn't follow the instructions

Don't rely on your weight to determine what's right for you! This is what I've read over and over again from other reviews for multiple products. So instead of a 20 pound blanket, I used a 15 pound blanket. I also realized that I don't need a comforter that fits my entire bed, just me. Based on that, I settled on a double/full size (48" x 72") instead of a queen size. Of course I don't share a bed with anyone. If I did I would give them a separate blanket as I don't think they are made to share. I had no trouble getting the glass beads out. I'm not sure how that happens unless it's poorly made or you have pets scratching the comforter to unravel the stitching. I don't leave mine in bed either. As soon as I get up I fold it up and put it on the bench/stool at the end of my bed. As for improving sleep. Well, it's still a work in progress. I got it to deal with restless legs and leg/foot pain (a friend suggested I try it for that reason). But I didn't sleep much because my dog was very restless that night (new place and noises). But later I realized that the pain in my leg was gone. So cheers! But for the next few nights, the weight bothered me, especially on my side. I'll keep trying because I think there are other things I can do to improve my sleep, but I'm not ruling out the benefits of a weighted blanket just yet. And I definitely recommend this one.

Pros
