Like others, I went through the instructions for changing the straps on my Fitbit Charge HR and felt confident using this kit. The band is stiff and thick but looks good quality. The only tool I used in the kit was a torx tool, which worked well for removing and re-tightening the tiny screws on the tracker itself. (I definitely recommend working on a baking sheet or towel so you don't lose the screws if they fall out or pop out when trying to remove or retighten them.) Be sure to wrap the plastic wrap around both the outside and inside also remove the inside from the outside. window on the strip. The original plastic clip/button/loader clasp didn't fit the new band snugly, so (as suggested online) I taped it (lightly) to the band so it wouldn't fall out. This clip is needed to hold the charger in place to charge the Charge HR. After a couple of weeks, the strap became loose enough to allow the button and charging clip to move a bit, making the Fitbit unchargeable. I figured I could take the clasp off to move and reattach it, but where it was originally tight, the replacement strap now has too much slack for the button and charging clasp to stay in place. I ordered a replacement clasp and it no longer matched the replacement strap. Sad day because I was really hoping it would work. The money I spent preserving my old Charge HR is now about the same as a used HR.
