Chromecast has no audio output, my portable projector has no audio output. So I use that in between and send the sound to the speaker of my choice. Important note, keep the volume of the source at a high level and adjust the volume of the amplifier, speakers, etc., otherwise the sound will be lost. I thought I had a bad device and fixed all sorts of bugs. I assume that a certain threshold is required to correctly extract the volume. 80% or better on my Chromecast is working properly. Briefly on the current setup: Chromecast to extractor, extractor to mini-projector and portable speaker.
