Review on Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Refurbished Microsoft by Kevin Duhon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great out of the box but life sucks

I have a box full of faulty and non-working Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers, mostly refurbished. Refurbished looks and feels like new. The triggers and bumpers even resist movement a bit like new factory controls. Unfortunately (as usual) the battery packs didn't fit very well and the gaming and my gaming and charging cables just fell out. I believe the problem is that the Xbox 360 (Original) controllers are slightly different than the Xbox 360 Slim controllers. Sellers often don't specify which one you're getting, as was the case this time. This particular controller worked flawlessly while gaming. until this happened. As I've learned, the lifespan of many other Xbox 360 controllers (new and refurbished) is always unnecessarily short, especially when compared to PlayStation controllers which last much longer. In my experience, these refurbished Xbox 360 controllers always come with an AA battery pack, not a rechargeable pack, and of course there's no charging cable, so you have to buy them separately if you want to charge them. You might want to buy a charger instead of a play and charge cable, but good luck finding a reliable charger. And the last. When playing certain games, overhauls can consistently misalign the dials when you have more than 4 options. Very strange.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Hard to say
