First of all, the price is probably ideal for it. While the $1,000 units look great, this does a sub-par job for around $150-$200. Maybe good for backyard movies for kids who don't care about picture quality - picture quality is native 1080p. not just "supported", so that's a good thing. or is that so? Out of the box some might be a bit dim, but you'll need to use the remote to get into the settings menu and play around. it can get a little light. not nearly what you'd like or expect, but better than out of the box - the sound stinks out of the box, but go to the settings menu again and play around. it will be MUCH better. Use music or movies and turn on surround sound (not SRS surround). It's not great, but it gets pretty damn loud and sounds average. not tinny, not too bassy if you get that right β the interface is pretty damn simple. like since 1998, but oh well. while it works. Just use a fire stick or something similar. You will rarely use projectors. The UI fan noise is pretty low. I hardly hear him, if at all. This "maybe" is bad because it needs to cool down. I can end up attaching a USB fan to get more airflow. Oh my goodness. the worst part of the projector so far. The capstone is TERRIBLE. It's vertical only and only for one axis (down I think) so you need to be in the center, facing the screen directly, or slightly higher so this image doesn't blur around the edges. Even if you use Keystone, it does wash out a bit around the edges. only decision. Dead center, right. Here the device needs digital keystone correction, but only manually. Basically, it just tilts the lens, which in turn blurs the image. it sucks. that sucks really really bad. that's sooo bad. I've never seen worse keystone correction. Even if you need it and you're in an area where Keystone can help (3% of people), it tilts maybe 5%. it does almost nothing except spoil the picture. THIS IS SO BAD SO SO SO BAD. Terrible. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING WITH GOOD KEYSTONE CORRECTION BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO PLACE THIS PROJECTOR ON THE FLOOR OR HIGHER VERTICAL FROM THE SCREEN, DO NOT BUY THIS. You will be very disappointed. HOLY PRAY! again as bad as the cornerstone. Image quality suffers A LOT from that terrible focus and keystone distortion. My projector sits "just below center, about 8-9 feet from the screen, and absolutely every corner and edge is pathetically fuzzy and fuzzy. the picture is sharp. Don't expect a laser here, short throw 4k. Just be prepared that you'll have to perfect the positioning in relation to the screen you're using and even then it looks bad. one day, but as it stands this projector is complete junk and I will not be returning it.
