I will confess that I had never waxed my legs before using this kit and while the thought had always terrified me due to my fear of pain, I was always curious how much of a difference it made compared to shaving power. So when the opportunity arose to try this one, I decided to take a chance and see how it went. Well even as a complete and absolute novice this was a very easy product to use and my fears were totally unfounded. All the horror stories I've seen about waxing have been insanely painful. But that's not the case. At least not with this kit. Waxing won't burn your skin as long as you follow the directions and do it right, and pulling your hair is actually surprisingly painless. It's a slow process, at least for a beginner who doesn't quite understand what it does yet, but the results are nice. A tidbit that wasn't included in the instructions is to have some olive or mineral oil on hand to loosen any wax residue left on your skin afterwards; Just dip a cotton swab in, apply to the sticky spot for a minute or two, then rub and it comes off instantly. :) But I'm really glad I took the plunge and tried it. If you're in the same boat as you and want to see if waxing is right for you, this is a very good kit to start with!
