Great headphones with some weird features

I currently own several OneOdio headphones. This was my third pair and I didn't hesitate to pick them up and try them out. I'm pickier than your average consumer, so this review may be longer than what you normally read, so please ignore me. Draft - 4 stars. look like an idiot walking down the street or even on public transport. They fold up, which allows you to put them in the pouch provided, which is very convenient. Another nice feature is the ability to fold the ear pads towards your chest instead of up. That's why it's much more comfortable when the ear cushions rest on the collarbone than on the hard plastic covers on the opposite side. Also, people won't get annoyed with the music you listen to. The ear pads are very soft, as is the headband. They have really nice red stitching on the top of the headphones which also includes the branding. Finally, in the cups, the left and right channels are very well marked with "L" and "R". A few potential issues I see from my experience with Oneodio headphones are foldable connections. Like the previous ones I have, they tend to loosen over time making them extremely troublesome to keep in a ready to use position. There is no way to tighten them unless you feel the need to do a little surgery to maybe find a way to tighten them. I currently display all my headphones on headphone stands. Unlike my other branded headphones, they can flop, just like my other OneOdio branded headphones. Second, the earcups are a perfect circle instead of an oval like the other wireless models they sell. I, and maybe others like me, have dilated earlobes, so ears should be comfortable with headphones on. It seems like most headphone manufacturers opt for oval earcups to cover ears of all shapes and sizes, but for some reason OneOdio opted for fully round earcups. It won't be my first choice when it comes to "grab and walk" headphones. Functionality - 4 stars. When it comes to ease of use, they are top notch. These headphones feature a minimalist approach to functionality. The 3 buttons do everything, and the multifunction button is recessed so it's easy to see the difference between it and the volume buttons. The multifunction button works to turn it on with a long press and the same amount to turn it off. You will get a beep both when you turn it off and when you turn it on. When you wear them, the volume up button is closest to the back of your head and the volume down button is closest to the front of your face. It should be noted that a subtle chime greets you when you hit maximum volume, which is a nice change from other headphones I've used in the past. They also play the same role as the next track and the previous track. A new accessory that comes with these headphones is a built-in microphone for people who want to use it to play games on their PS4 and XBOX ONE and make phone calls through the cable. The function button on the built-in microphone is only for answering and ending calls. There's no way to turn off the sound if you want to use them for gaming. Muting on the phone is done through the phone itself. The Bluetooth connection is fast and seamless, and the connection is very reliable, the distance can really depend on your environment. The functionality of these headphones can also cause concern and even annoyance. First, there are extreme tactile sensations from the volume buttons. They are SO loud when you try to change the volume. Also, I was talking to my wife and when I tried to turn up the volume to hear her better. She noticed that she could hear EVERY volume button click and asked me to stop as her ears hurt every time I did it. Now I'm not sure if that's just a defect with these headphones or not, but I won't be using them for phone calls any time soon. Speaking of volume on these headphones, they have great volume balance, but for some weird reason, OneOdio decided that from time to time they need to reset the volume memory you placed the last time you used them. I can say without a doubt that other manufacturers like Mpow and Anker have never happened to me. I have no idea why anyone for any reason would want to factory reset the volume when you can change it yourself if you feel like the type of music you are listening to requires it. Sound - 5 stars. One word describes her; MARVELOUS! The overall sound of these discs is just amazing. This is really something for lovers of balanced sound. Everything is so clear from the high highs to the lows. Now I haven't emphasized the low frequencies because they just don't hit the low frequencies that I love. I've tried them with every genre of music and where they don't work for me is BASS style music. Artists like DJ Magic Mike, Bass Patrol, Techmaster PEB etc. They can't seem to really hit low notes like I'm used to with the Anker headphones I have. It requires a lot of EQ tweaking on every device it's plugged into to get the bass I like, but that's what I see as a downside, for others it might not be a problem. This is an issue for me as a basshead, and I know from hundreds of reviews I've read of headphones that this may bother you as well. From others around me, audio doesn't seem to be a problem for them and I've been listening to them at a pretty healthy level! I have no major issues or issues with the sound they produce as this subject can be very subjective. It really depends on what kind of music you like. Battery and Co. - 5 stars OneOdio claims 30 hours of battery life, of course this statement can be subjective depending on the listening content, volume and duration. . From all the testing and general usage, I felt like I met or almost exceeded that deadline, so kudos to OneOdio. It comes with all the accessories you need to use it at home or on the go, of course, except the charging case, and come along who doesn't have at least one of these. I have to say that it's great that they include a built-in mic and I can see why they did that as most if not all bluetooth headphones have a really bad mic response when used for phone calls . This accessory solves all the problems encountered when making phone calls with Bluetooth headphones. Above all, very stylish headphones with a long battery life and a very balanced sound. Strong Bluetooth signal and I forgot to mention when registering with OneOdio that they can extend your warranty for another year, how great?! Thank you for reading this entire review. I hope this was helpful as I tried to find detailed reviews but failed all along. Thanks very much!
