Due to the sad lack of shoes with full leather soles (most men's shoes have rubber heels at best), dancing is getting pretty knee-deep. With these plates you can convert any pair of shoes into leather (suede) soles quickly, easily and relatively inexpensively. I would have rated it higher, but as I feared, self-adhesive just doesn't stand up to prolonged use. . You can then re-glue as the suede itself is still fine but is a problem tonight. I do lindy hop/swing a few nights a week for 3 hours each, with varying times afterwards. After a few weeks I lost one sole and now after a few months the other is starting to fall off. The repair with superglue seems to work great.
