Food slicer broke on first use. It arrived very quickly and was exactly as described. Except for the part about being tough. The core is excellent, I still use it. But as I said, the slicer broke the very first time I pressed it onto the strawberries. And it wasn't even a hard strawberry. Can't say I've tried using the core on carrots and stuff as described in the pictures. Full of BS. It's good for strawberries and tomatoes, but not strong or strong enough for everything else.
