Do not use steam with this press mat!
The silicone mat is advertised to keep the work surface under the press mat when using steam. Unfortunately it doesn't serve its purpose. It failed, and now my big Fiskars handles are warped, as is the countertop under the carpet. I would not recommend using steam with this ab mat π€¨
