Something about these cartridges or inks doesn't work in the printer like OEM ink. After printing a few test pages, my printer literally stopped responding. Epson connects each of its cartridges to a small circuit board that connects to the printer. I find this difficult for third parties to replicate this exactly and after a few passes the printer states that no Epson ink is installed and this effectively stalls the printer. I would be very upset but it was an old printer so I decided to buy a new one. But I will never buy ink from this company again, or at least for a newer printer (not worth the risk). It reeks of high prices for Epson (or HP) ink, but like everything else in the business world, this is a game they played for us.
