The bottom two shelves (D and E) have been mislabeled and the holes are completely different. After struggling with installing it on the wrong shelf, I figured out what was wrong and then everything went fine. I used an open dresser drawer to support the first few inserts. Since I also use it in the large pantry in the bedroom at the back of the house, after opening the box by the front door I shoved each piece about three loads into the closet where I completed the installation. That way I didn't have to lug a heavy (for me) piece of furniture to the back of the house.
