These are excellent quality RJ45 connectors used to extend network cables already installed. A few years ago I ran long network cables from every room in my house and they were all collected in the hub room where all my network equipment is installed. It happened that you needed to move network equipment to another place in the same room, but there were not enough cables to reach the new place. These RJ45 connectors saved me from having to reinstall longer network cables throughout the house and I have used them to connect the ends of existing network cables in the cubicle to new network cables for extension.
