This hemp wick smelled awful. It smelled like a barn before I burned it down and worse afterward. This wick is also quite difficult to extinguish. It's thick and smolders forever, creating even more stinky smoke. I had to keep snuff or a water bottle stopper nearby to put out the fire. Squeezing the wick out with your fingers will only make your hands stink terribly. All of this makes me question the safety of the wick, defeating the purpose. The only good thing I can say about this hemp wick is the convenient spool it comes in. I have purchased the exact same product from another seller before and it was great. I hope I just got a bad batch or something but it was so bad I won't try again.
