I have been using this litter for over a year and a half. At first, and after a very time consuming process of trying every natural litter imaginable, I thought I had finally hit the jackpot because it clumped so well, controlled odor and was natural and safe for my cats. . The price was also very reasonable, sometimes as low as $10 to $12 for an 18 pound box. However, the price has increased significantly in recent months and today 10/16/17 is over $30 per box! I understand supply and demand to some extent, but this price increase seems really extreme. The last two boxes I bought were also very different in quality, the clumps break apart very easily and stay very wet which means that when I scoop the large clump breaks up into small clumps of impregnated litter which is great for my scoop are too small. seven. So I have to change the litter more often because it smells faster and my cats don't like it. In the past the filler stuck together so tightly and soaked up so much that I could easily use the same base filler for a month and add more as needed. I hate to think I have to search again for that elusive, perfect, safe and natural cat litter, but I'm beginning to think I don't have a choice.
