Review on πŸ”‘ Auihiay Plastic Keychain Accessories Creative by Mario Beckwith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal! If you're frizzy, READ MY REVIEW!

EDIT: I tried permanent markers, they were smeared all over and spread across the page and even smeared after baking. Of course it was water based so I was half expecting it, I'm sure markers or other oil based markers would work great. I also tried a heart shaped carving with a smaller heart carved into it. It didn't work because the thinner part curled up during baking and stuck to the other side (that didn't happen with the smaller keychain hole), so I took it out and fixed it manually, put it back in the oven, thinking it would fix it yourself. It was until I took it out and tried to remove it from the pan and it curled up again and now it's warped and won't fix itself. So, advice if you plan to cut shapes into the drawing - don't make them too big! I stand by my 5 star rating when used and baked properly. ---ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had a problem with that one star. check first. It curled up and I couldn't put a heavy book on it fast enough to straighten it out. Little did I know these things HAD to curl up and then magically align! I panicked when I saw it curl up and pulled it out too soon, but DON'T PANIC! Leave them there for a few more seconds and they will flatten out. Once it's flat, take it out and let it cool a bit before playing around with it. I even put the first failed attempt back in the oven and it flattened out - that was after it had completely cooled and solidified! I didn't even have to put the book down. I made the drawing about 5-6 inches tall (almost the entire page) and it shrank down to about 2 inches tall, the ideal keychain size. A regular hole punch shrinks to the perfect hole size for a keychain. I used Prismacolor pencils and they look great. It feels like it's going to smudge, so I'll probably cover it with a layer of epoxy at some point. I'll edit my review if I do (even if I try fineliner markers on it) so you all know how. Take it out too soon, you can just put it back in to fix it! Just keep watching it and you'll know when it's done.
