One below and one above could fit. Because I am caring for a person who is hard of hearing or unsteady on their feet. It works like an intercom so she can talk to me when I'm not around. If she needs help with something, she can ask for it instead of going upstairs. The stairs are very difficult for her. Very satisfied with the product.
