I have had this product for about a month and have used it at least 10 times on different trips. Works great, very easy to fill and tighten, no leaks. even if the "swivel nozzle" remains in the open position at the top. All my friends are wondering where I got this from. First purchase was from REI but of course it's cheaper from Amazon (with free shipping in first price) and I'll buy at least 1 more for some hikes when I travel. I've taken it to the beach, golf, and a few day trips. Water doesn't taste like plastic or rubber. The best part is that when you're done with your water, you're not left with a large plastic bottle that's just taking up space. Simply roll up and stow away and you're done. minuses. I personally wouldn't leave it in extreme heat, like in a locked car. I think it would be pretty hard for a rubbery material. Except it's really baggy water. I wouldn't want to crush it or put anything heavy on it. but frankly, that goes for anything you want to take care of.
