Used for the first time with a cup of Premium Quality Black Nongshim Noodles with some water. The maximum temperature was about 205 degrees Fahrenheit. As far as I know, this is a power of 600 watts. Microwave ramen in a bowl takes 3 minutes, plus 1 minute to cool and soak. Microwave 1200w. This little stove took a little longer but the water didn't boil all over the microwave like it usually does in a bowl of pasta. Plus, I can stir the noodles and check how well they're cooked before turning them off. Much better control than in the microwave where you have to wait and watch it cook and lose half the ingredients, not to mention the messy cleaning in the microwave. Also, the microwave is unhealthy if it destroys your enzymes in food. I think it would be possible to add packages afterwards, haven't tried it yet. Stay tuned for more ramen noodle adventures with Topwit. I'm just having fun. It's all fun. And delicious. Next up is Steel Oatmeal, fingers crossed. π
