First, the sound quality is very good. Nice and clear and turned up loud enough for those with hearing problems. They are very easy to connect (I use an optical cable) and require no setup to get them working. However, there is a downside: since the base is connected to the TV, it has to be a few meters away from the TV. and the headphones are charged in the base. This can be annoying if you're having trouble moving. It would be much more convenient if you could charge your headphones closer to your TV chair with a USB cable. Also, the cable that connects the headphones to the dongle (or whatever you want to call it) hanging from your chin is very stiff and resists twisting or bending. So if your ears are not positioned as intended by the manufacturer, the earbuds will be uncomfortable. The only way around this is to leave them on the ear instead of inserting them, which reduces volume and sound quality.
