I only received the "Organizer" a few days ago so I can't comment on its strength or durability but it may seem to have the qualities of both I bought the organizer because a leather case I bought four or five months ago started to tear the inner lining with dividers. My bag fit like a glove, the size listed was accurate. Also, the "bag organizer" provides the separation I needed, along with two zipped pockets, one of which slides out of the bag, it seems to have all the organizational compartment features I need to keep my bag organized. The zipper in the 2 compartments can be a bit difficult to close, but it just takes longer. Don't force it in a moment of frustration.
