I used three of these test kits after opening my country house this spring. Initially, the water showed a positive result. I waited a few weeks to see if the spring fountain would resume. It has been negative for many years. The second shot was positive so I had a UV system installed. A week later we were tested again and had a negative result for bacteria. This led me to believe that the tests are accurate. I trusted them. I'm glad I was only able to test for eColi and Coliforms. For everything else I have tests. They're not cheap, but I'm glad I didn't have to spend more dollars on whole sets.
