I bought this phone for a loved one who has dementia and tremors. Portable phones were no longer available because they were constantly being lost or thrown away. She had trouble answering calls because she couldn't find the right button(s) to press. So I needed a phone that never leaves its place (connected to the base) and something with big buttons. I didn't know exactly how to use the button because I knew he wouldn't be able to match 7-10 correct numbers. Then I found this phone. How wonderful! There are 9 blank image buttons (where you put your loved one's picture etc.) and then set the image button to their number. Posting pictures is easy when you have small pictures. Time to get your cameras out! Lol (who uses albums). Setting a specific number in these 9 image buttons is very simple. The guide provides clear and simple setup steps. There's also a switch on the side of the base that lets you turn up the volume. ideal for the hard of hearing/hearing aid users. In any case, I am very grateful that I found this phone. This gave her the opportunity to answer the phone. What's even better, it can call up to 9 different people/places with a single touch. Shipping was fast and the price is fair for what the product does. When someone has dementia, they start losing things. They lose their memory and of course their ability to do things. but they also lose other things: their car keys are gone, their friends no longer come. and some, like my love, miss the opportunity to even pick up the phone and talk. you get lonely And I struggled and tried to figure out how to improve the situation. The company that made this phone actually gave it something in return. And that means more to us than this Amazon review can express. It's just nice to know that there are companies that sell such products. to give back a part of ordinary life to those who lose something every day.
