Perfect for my needs. Creating an extra workspace in our home office closet required an extra light source. I wanted something that would provide all-around lighting (so we can see the shelves on either side of the cabinet) without blinding us when seated. I knew I wanted something from the lantern family but wasn't thrilled with the idea of traditional cheap paper lanterns. I rolled the dice with it considering the material is plastic and it looks unique. After reading other reviews I realized I had to search YouTube for a building guide. With a video and a little patience, the assembly went smoothly. The assembly process is a testament to the quality of the product. I fully expected there would be at least one tear or permanent crease somewhere (with the bending, pulling, tugging necessary to bring the lamp together). To my pleasant surprise, the finished result had no flaws. Set up took 20 minutes from start to finish. After putting a white bulb in the lamp and hanging it up, I have to say I couldn't ask for more; Considering everything is under $35 (bulb + white lampshade). I should add that the light requires a standard base bulb (which was not listed in the description). I used a Phillips Hue a19 white bulb. Because of the size and layering of details that make up the finished project, the lamp looks a lot better than typical pendant lights. Review.
