I have purchased several mattress pads in this price range from Revain. I expected this one to be of the same quality as my previous purchases. Unfortunately it isn't. To the seller's credit, there is a note in the fine print that due to long periods of driving the gasket may be flimsy (1/4" to 3/8") and somewhat wrinkled - an afterthought I think to correct a possible impression of potential ones buyers. given the larger description "SOFT, QUIET, AND BREATHABLE: If you're thinking of a soft, breathable, comfortable, quiet, and 100% waterproof mattress topper, this is definitely your ideal choice." = an optimistic exaggeration. 1. I wonder if the positive reviews are related to another product and not the coverage I received.2 The cover cannot properly be called a lining, this is closer to the thickness of our beloved TP.3 The cover is NOT silent.I left it on for a few days to allow the wrinkle effect to dissipate.It remains crumpled, like a plastic bag that "crunches" a bit.4.I gave the case 3 stars for its water resistance, although I did NOT test it.5. I have to pay $8.10 to return an item that I think is defective The nearest UPS store that offers free returns is far from my country home, which is what I'm looking for unfair, but I agree.
