It's a pleasant scent and not too heavy, but it's definitely there and it should be a fragrance-free product. It's a real nuisance to me when the information is wrong and that's why I took a star off my rating. The cream itself is fine and treats dry feet well. I put it on before bed and then put my socks on. In the morning my legs are quite happy. The cream is rich but not as thick as some foot creams. I also got a pumice stone which wasn't impressive.
