I used my old Nikon D5300 kit bag for about 4 years before finally opening it. That's a good thing, because I collected more equipment and it didn't fit anymore. So, I was looking around and came across this Domke F-2 bag. It looked good, read the reviews and people seemed to like it, but all the pictures I saw made me think this bag was HUGE and I didn't want a "huge" bag just something that would fit in the Camera bag fits 3 lenses, flash and more. So I bought it anyway for lack of alternatives. This bag turned out to be smaller than I thought it would be, but larger than my previous bag. Noticeably more. I could easily fit everything I had and still had room! I was very happy with it. The straps are thick and strong, as is the bag itself. Not sure about the water resistance, didn't want to leave it outside during a tropical storm in Houston to find out. The only thing that bothers me is the metal clips on the front pockets, they are difficult to open (I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and fingers). ), so I just leave them uncut and everything is fine. Definitely not enough to dock her to a star. The bag itself is very durable and according to others will last a lifetime and I believe in that. The compartments are snug and well padded, I can just "put" my lenses in the compartments and be sure they're ok. For me this bag is the perfect size I was looking for (backpack size) and will probably be the last camera bag I own. After a few months very happy with it and highly recommended.
