Doesn't work with iPad Pro with M1 chip 2021

I bought this USB-C hub to work with my new iPad Pro with M1 chip 2021. I work for the government and needed to add a smart card reader to this. It didn't recognize the reader, so I plugged it into a USB-C port on my Windows 10 home computer. It also works on my Android phone and Android tablet. I would send it back but it works on my other devices so I decided to keep it and just make it work on my other devices. All I'm saying is, before you start telling people your product works, please do some research and development to see if it actually works.
