OMG, they are holding out!
Unlike some I've bought in the past (look at you Clover) these really stuck to my metal needles. I don't know if I just got a lucky package or something. In fact, I had to pull them a bit to take them off, which is exactly what I was looking for. Others I've bought from Joanne just came off the ends after a few moments. If I had to buy them again (my cats love to play with them when left unsupervised) I would definitely do so.
