I really wanted this golf product to be different from other golf products. There are so many golf tutorials out there that are good in theory but terrible in practice/application. Unfortunately, this product falls into that category. The Bluetooth connection is so bad that I couldn't even take a shot at the shooting range. I have taken these insoles to the shooting range several times. Every time I connected it got disconnected again when I was in my setup. My phone was on the ground about 3-4 feet from me so I could see the weight distribution during the swing, but every time I put the phone back on the ground and manipulated it, it would turn off. The thickness of the insole makes it a bit uncomfortable to wear. I ended up removing the original insole from my golf shoes. This made the fit appropriate. The ability to distinguish one vibration from another is performed using a timer. I prefer to control this with a manual button, voice activation, or remote control and then edit the recording to eliminate extraneous motion. Ideally, I want to leave my phone in the golf cart during a round and start and stop recording after each shot. I would like to see version 2 of this product improve connectivity significantly.
