Review on Pokémon Pikachu Switch Nintendo Digital by Quvarious Evans

I really wanted to like this game but I'm deeply disappointed as it's the first main game in the franchise that I don't like that much. Game Freak focused the whole game on Pokemon Go style catching which is very boring and repetitive. To level up, to train your Pokemon's stats, you have to catch specific zone that you have caught repeatedly and systematically in the simple and boring Pokemon Go way. ALL strategies have been removed from this game, skills removed, weather removed, battle items removed, fishing removed, breeding removed, mentors removed, GTS services removed, no post-game battle maison, no post-game learning locations, master trainers - dumbest why should I train Caterpie, Metapod and Butterfly? just to fight the head trainer of that species. Trainer battles just became irrelevant, I beat the game and the battles don't matter as they don't give you enough experience to level up your team. I went through the boring process of catching hundreds of Pokemon to level up my team and now all the battles are very easy as the CPU commands are very weak. Not to mention that there are only 153 species out of 809 that exist. The graphics aren't good enough to switch and doesn't make up for all the downsides of this game. The only good thing about Let's Go is that Pokemon are in the world and they can follow you or ride you, but it definitely never will. make up for all failures in Pokémon Let's Go.
