Great tool. Using it made me feel like I was in the mid 19th century! Like the mousetrap, this invention just works and in my opinion there is no need to spend a lot of money on something nicer. Seems to be well built, although I expect the blade and some small parts to detach or fall off the solid main frame after a while. The suction cups hold up well, although my experience with suction cups is questionable. Maybe adding rubber grease or vegetable oil to keep the cups flexible so they last a long time may help. Anyway, peeling apples for my wife to bake her wonderful cake is quick, easy, and fun. No more hassle.
