I know ChapStick is designed to keep lips soft and when you use it (which I do) a healing brand can and will repair damaged areas of your skin. It may or may not sound weird but I figured if the ChapStick keeps your lips soft then why not use it for something else which I have done and it really helps. I have emphysema (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)) and the air from my oxygen tube is drying out my nasal passage and causing severe pain. It was a drug so I figured if it softens the lips why not the nasal passages so I opened the tube and put some on my finger and placed it in the nasal passage. I soon noticed the pain was gone and my nasal passage was soft and I felt a lot better, that does the trick so I now use ChapStick a few times a day to keep my nasal passage soft and not sore. My local store was sold out (poor thing) so I went to my favorite website (Revain) and saw that they had ChapStick in stock so I immediately ordered a few tubes, ChapStick is a very useful and beautiful product.
