Review on Efficient Control & Performance: RioRand 6 60V Brushless Electric Controller by David Naranjo

I wanted to order this item to see if it would work without sensors. The description says it works with a hall sensor, which is good. I was also wondering if this would work with my sensorless motors. I asked a question about working with a hall sensor and didn't get an answer. After looking at several photos in the description of this article with speed control when connected to power supply and BLDC, it is clear that the hall sensor connector is not even connected. Beware. This controller will not work with BLDC without hall sensors. If it can be configured to work without sensors, I can find information about it. My Hall sensored BLDC seems to work fine but not as smooth as the sensorless version which is a bit disappointing. I really like the smaller hall or no-sensor version of this controller better. I just wanted a 60V supply instead of 50V in the sensorless version. I gave that 4 stars anyway because the description text isn't entirely wrong, just not very clear and it still works well for the money.
