This frame looks relatively nice and definitely has some weight to it. However, it could not hold my 5x7 canvas without me trimming a little off the side. It was a little scary when cutting the canvas, unlike a picture that could just be reprinted.The frame is lightly brushed with black paint to give it an antique look. Of the 2 frames I ordered, one was well done, but on the other frame, the black paint was obvious (i.e. it looked dirty rather than antique).Also, the glass is glued into the frame. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But because I was framing a canvas, I wanted to take the glass out. I ended up having to smash the glass out and use pliers to remove the glue so that my print would fit.
