I bought these because the price is great and so are the reviews. I wanted a very small taper spike and it fit the bill. If you're looking for a big, highly visible tip, this isn't it. I was pleased with the packaging and the jewelry looked great. The size was as expected. The first time I put one in my nostril it hurt. I had a feeling he was scratching himself, but I didn't give it much importance. I gently cleaned the area with a damp cotton swab, expecting it to feel better later. It's not like this. It got worse every day. I realized it felt like it was stuck to the skin in my nose, so I took it out. There is an uneven burr in the metal right at the bend. Three out of four have the same sharp object sticking out of the jewelry. There are manufacturing defects, but this could lead to infection. In my face If you buy these I would recommend inspecting them very carefully and disinfecting them well before putting them in.
