Review on 🔧 Dorman 917-211 VVT Solenoid: Optimize Engine Performance for Lexus and Toyota Models by Joseph Morris

Installed a few days ago and works well so far. Check to see if the engine light is no longer illuminated with an error code. It took 10 minutes to install. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the included clamp screw broke easily without meeting the correct torque specs. Luckily I was able to remove the broken screw and reuse the original screw. For those with old electrical connectors that are becoming brittle, there is a chance you will break the clip that secures the connector to the oil control valve. I only used two bandages to secure the connector to the valve. Another solution is to buy a new connector, cut the wires and connect them together.
