I love doing my nails and am always looking for great gel nail polishes. So let's take a look at this set. First, all the accessories for such a set are decent and good. Nail files are the sand needed to remove the top coat before wetting the nail polish, and they're a nice size for an easy grip. Prep pads work as you think and all manicure prep items are good. The crystals are fun and come in a variety of sizes. The toe separator seems pointless as I don't think this set can be used on feet but I think you could. Let's get to the polishing. The glittery colors are more translucent than they appear on the listing. Even in 2 layers, the nail is visible through and through. Solid colors have excellent coverage. I was able to get the perfect black in just 2 coats. My biggest problem is that like some other gel polishes, I have 10 bottles of nail polish and they are all identical. The colors are not listed anywhere on the bottle. Every time you want to use them you have to start guessing what colors are in each one. The light is nice and I like that it's not so high. This simplifies storage considerably. The light is weaker than others, so I had to increase the drying time at each stage. Not much, but worth mentioning. Overall a good starter kit but not much to write about.
