Review on πŸ”₯ Andis High Heat Ceramic Hair Flattening Iron 1.5-Inch, Black (67770) by Andrea Sonnier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not for fine hair but suitable for thick hair

BENEFITS Smooths your hair Heats up to 450 degrees Captures really thick hair CON Heats up to 450 degrees - it will damage ANY hair Temperature range is tiny, harsh To see and easy to stumble, no floating plates, pull thin hair. First it will straighten your hair. So he's doing his job. I think it works well for thick curly hair but I have fine hair and should have read the reviews more carefully. My biggest problem with this straightener is that it gets so hot. Sounds crazy, but my stylist said you should NEVER use a 450 degree flat iron unless you're doing a keratin treatment. If you do, you probably have a professional straightening iron and not in this price range. The temperature dial is very small and difficult to read, so you could easily hit it and singe your hair. accidentally switched off. There are warnings and instructions everywhere. If you buy this, always check the heat setting before using it. It's also a bit "quirky". I have thin hair that falls out easily. The plates on this iron are not floaty or smooth like my previous iron so they stretch. While it's good for thick hair, it pulls on my fine hair and I shed more. I am keeping it as it stands up and is difficult to return but I probably should have bought another one for my needs.
