I didn't want any pictures in it, I just like it as a heart shaped pendant. It comes with a blue plastic mini locket, but I don't plan on opening it. Pandora jewelry comes with the same plastic triangle to undo tricky clasps, so I'm familiar with how it works. I was born at 10pm in the tropics so palm trees and moonstone are important to me. surprised by the weight. It has some weight, it's not thin at all. I have a gold locket of the same size that weighs next to nothing; the gold should be much thinner than this silver medallion. The artificial moonstone is great. It reflects all the colors of the rainbow like labradorite. The 18" chain is a good length (I cut off the extra 2" from the larger links, I will never wear a 20" chain) but the shackle is a decent size so the included chain can be removed and replaced can with another. I can't find any flaws, everything about this locket is amazing.
