Bought for a fan of Minecraft. This is a lot of fun, but two things will immediately strike Minecraft fans. First, these are not Minecraft colors. Our child noticed it immediately. Second, the edges of the trident are straight, not jagged/pixelated. The same brand offers a pixel sword, but for some reason there is no trident. However, it is great fun and the gift was appreciated. It is not advertised as a Minecraft item and is exactly as shown in the photos. So I'm not going to put down him for not researching Minecraft enough, although I think the brand should take note. It's hard plastic, so if you actually use it in a play fight, it's going to break. This only applies to costumes, light shows or displays. I wish there were options for the backlight - when it's on it flashes and rotates random colors, and there are no settings. I think the $20 sticker price is quite high. It's funny, but it's clearly plastic. It looks like plastic and the color is defective right out of the box. I really think less than $10 is the right price.
