I was hesitant to buy something that hasn't been checked but I'm glad I took the risk. The style of the button drew me in and I decided to give it a try. I regret nothing. I bought it just before I went to a conference and it worked great. It has three large zipped pockets. There is a padded computer slot on the back, but there was room in front of the slot for all the cables. I haven't actually used the medium but it's full size so you can put whatever you want in it. And the front has all the little pockets for pens, business cards, etc., plus a zip pocket for storing small items. The front flap is also a pocket between the left edge of the pocket and the buttons. The bottle pockets on either side are perfect for standard bottles but large enough to fit anything wider than average. It's good quality and I'll be using it for a long time. Why do I like buttons so much? I think that's because it's difficult to find a compact laptop backpack that's a little bit feminine, a little bit whimsical and a little bit fun, but still suitable for a business setting. This fits the bill.
