Review on 📏 Stanley STHT30830 Lever Lock Tape: Innovative Lever Lock System for Fast and Reliable Measurements by James Lighting

Probably the best general purpose tape measure I've seen for the money. The ABS plastic frame feels strong yet light and is very easy to grip without accidentally pulling the trigger to pull back the strap. The lever latch on the bottom requires little effort and doesn't retract too quickly (horrible latch back). The band itself bends easily, but it's quite strong. I've tried to abuse it a bit, bending it around metal surfaces and torn it back and forth with no problem. The fractional scale and markings are exceptionally well printed and legible, and the yellow paint does not seem to peel off easily. The magnet is strong enough to easily pull the tape measure even on thin steel. It's also easy to remove if you don't want it in the way. Pros: - Well made and durable - Grippy and lightweight - Reliable feed mechanism - Quality paintwork and marking on the strap - Strong magnet is useful and can be easily removed - It's cheap Cons: - The metal clip on the side is a bit small - a bit bulky If you need a tape measure for work in the wood, construction, handicraft and household sectors, I would buy this tape without hesitation. Absolutely worth the price.
